the day i left for nationals (wednesday) my sister took a half day at work cause she felt horrible...i guess monday she was puking every 20 minutes for 8 hours..still feeling like crap, so she finally went to the ER this afternoon...

Inflamed Gallbladder with Gallstones, they have to wait for the inflamation to go down before surgery...surgery expected in 24-48 hours...

we sure have been a stoney family this year, i had the kidney stone blast to break up 3 large kidney stones, then my sister in law had to have her gallbladder removed, and now my sister...this makes my brother the only non stoner this year...well my brother in law as well i guess, those bastards...

relatively common thing in ladies in there 30s, so we arent too worried about anything...but it sucks for her because she will probably miss 2 weeks of work and as the comptroller shes pretty important, plus my nephew likes being held and no heavy lifting for 2-4 weeks im sure...

i thought you were gonna say she was pregnant

that is a bummer, my sister in law had to have her gall bladder removed too, she started the same way, couldn't hold anything down, running a fever, just felt overall crappy. the ER kept her after 2 visits finally and took it the next morning. stones are no joke, i now know what you felt like going through yours, feels like someone stomped on your kidneys and slowed down long enough to hula dance.

hope she pulls through ok. i'm sure Uncle Jason will pick up your nephew

Thats sucks man,i know the pain unfortunatly.I had mine taken out awhile back.Mine was so swollen that it attached itself to my liver. So they had to cut part of that out to.Tell her to take it easy and definetly no laughing.Whos line is it anyway came out around that time and i left the hospital and watched it when i got home.Son of a itch those 4 little incisions thru your stomach muscles can cause a whole lot of pain when laughing lol.

Long story

I had my gallbladder out in February. It started with real bad chest pains about 11:30 pm on Monday. I have chest pains before mostly right after eating, so really did not think anything about it. (I had ate a real late supper.) About 2:30 am could not take pain anymore made wife take me to hospital. Did EKG and blood pressure check. They said my heart was fine (just slight rapid beat and now take meds for that) and my blood pressure was that of a high school kid. I am 50 years old over weight and out of shape, just ask Brett he will tell you. Tuesday morning they did cat scan to see if I had tumor on my aorta(SP?). I am prone to non cancerous tumors. That came back clean. Then they did one of those things where they go up through the vein in your leg to look in your heart. That test came back pretty good very minimal amount of build up and heart damage. Doctor said "you have about the same amount of damage as me" and he is 60+. Wednesday they did MRI found my gallbladder full of stones. Finally took it out on Thursday and went home on Friday. Thinking back for many years I had real BAD headaches two to three times a week. Also used to get chest pains after eating nothing real bad, just like gas pains. Since I had my gallbladder out I have not had ONE headache or have I had chest pains.

Hope it was not too long.

And good luck to tour sister.
