This is what I have decided about Moore. Moore is not a documentarian. He's a provocateur. And those people can be useful to begin conversations (less useful as authorities on a subject)
I think that it's a damned shame that our rescue workers could not receive the medical treatment they needed after risking their lives for all of us. I think that fire/rescue/paramedics/police/troops anyone who volunteers to put their safey in danger to save others ought to be protected, honored and covered.
I find it appalling when people are released from Walter Reed after 17 surgeries into homeless conditions. I find it horrible that someone who rushes into a burning building to save your child can't receive care if they are hurt. The healthcare system and mentality in this country is broken.

Making people think is always a good thing...
I hear what you're saying, but I have a hard time believing they're not covered. State and governament employees have some of the best benefits know to man..... Anyone hurt on the job has rights.. Call David Garrett he'll know what to do.

he has an agenda like most people with everything he does, he skews and often times creates facts to support his agenda. He makes some solid points, but too many people take what he says as truth, as they do from other media outlets, CNN, CBS, FoxNews, MSNBC or whatever, without realizing their is a political agenda behind almost every word spoken.
Exactly. Just like sports writers have agendas and change quotes all the time ("taken out of context"). Some of the stuff makes you think, but I always have a hard time lending credibility to someone with such a strong agenda like Moore.
And Elan, where have you been? Haven't seen you on since the Sopranos rant last Sunday :lollol:

Whatever your take on MM, he has always brought topics to the table that need to be discussed. Personally, I wouldn't doubt if 99% of this movie is real. Our healthcare system is a complete joke, having lived in 2 other countries I can firmly say, we get ripped off on a daily basis.
