Why a Score '89 Gooden? Just look at the back, at his career W-L and ERA. Yikes. Then look at '85. I forgot how dominant he was.

He was untouchable in ‘85…and so dominant early in his career…he averaged about 18 wins a year in those first 5 seasons!

Whitey Herzog has always called Dwight "Mr. Gooden" out of respect for how absurdly dominant he was in the 80s!!

LOL...'That's MISTER Gooden to the likes of you...'!! I concur. Mad respect. You know who I just think were underrated studs of that era; Harold Baines and Eddie Murray. Good grief those guys could hit in their sleep. 'Course that's a whole 'nother topic.
