What an unfortunate accident for Karlsson, and the Senators. They've lost they're star defenseman for the season, and that's a real tough blow. I don't think Matt Cooke did anything on purpose there. It was just one of those unfortunate accidents that happens from time to time. I certainly hope Karlsson has a speedy recovery, and is able to get his play back to where it was next year, as he is one of the league's elite defensemen, maybe the best offensively right now in the entire NHL?

just a horrible accident to one of the best in the league.

remember a few years back... there was a goalie that was hit in the neck with a skate and it severely cut him.

Accidents happen... this was a freak accident... hope he is able to return next year, but will he be 100%? Only time will tell.

The Sens season is over unless Craig Anderson can shut out half the opponents. The team has no offensive punch and Spezza still out.
