ok, so im pretty sure anyone who knows anything about the NFL knows about the Ray Rice thing...

is his career over?

the NFL really put the cart in front of the horse in terms of punishment, with the 2 game suspension, and then once all the outrage followed the NFL made a 6 game policy, effective AFTER the Rice incident...so today the inside the elevator video comes out, not sure how no one saw this in pretrial stuff, but it led to the Ravens cutting him...

and then, only and then, does the NFL step in and suspend him indefinitely...

they let Michael Vick back in, and in many cases, a dog's life is more valuable than a human life in the courts (look at animal abuse vs human abuse), and he came back...

Ray Lewis was accessory to murder (reinstated)
Donte Stallworth killed a guy in a DUI (reinstated)
Aaron Hernandez allegedly killed some people (in jail)

I don't know whether or not he's done, but I don't see this suspension being permanent. I figure maybe the rest of this season and he'll be reinstated next season.

If it were up to me, however, he'd be done for life. That said, so would all of the other guys you mentioned, and plenty more.

I don't know if the precedence is there to really do much more than they did. 2 games was way too light even if this video never existed. But I don't like them saying the Punishment for this will be 6 games then not sticking to it. My gut tells me the amount he was suspended has something to do with the fact that he lied/misled the Ravens/NFL.

what I want to know is why the casino didn't turn over the video, then suddenly AFTER the casino closes, this surfaces?...seems to me like an unhappy employee that was losing their job wanted to get a good cash out as TMZ pays for that sort of footage
