My Apologies to all

I'm sorry for offending members about my Grandmother. I don't think it is right to lie to people to get money. I guess I upset members by posting about her. I can't go anyway as I didn't make enough to go. I guess I should just lie about what I need the money for so I don't offend. It is not in me to lie to people as think nothing of it.

I agree that it's not right to lie to people, and I don't think that you really offended anyone here. It's just that most of us don't air our problems in a public forum such as this. It's understandable that sometimes we run into a string of bad luck now and then. If you noticed, I was absent from the site for a couple of weeks. We had a major problem at home that resulted in some pretty nasty goings on here. After it was all over, I offered my apologies to staff for my absence and explained why. Mostly because I felt obligated to. I could have just told Admin and the absence would have been explained.
A better way to deal with the curves that life throws at us is to just post that you need some paypal......in the end when it's all over, then perhaps offer up thanks to the members that helped. Some people, not myself, look at sell posts that describe personal events, as almost like peole looking for charity. Even though a person is just selling their things off to get out from under a bad happenstance. It's not lying to not say why you need to sell. If someone asks, then if you feel comfortable enough, tell them.
Some days I feel as if there is a little black cloud that just follows me around raining on me all day, as I'm sure that you and others do also. Take heart and realize that eventually that cloud will go away. My condolences to you aand your family on your loss.
