microsoft office teacher/student 07

looking to purchse it since the 03 will no longer be used in 2010, ive got some of the very minor things down in word and except, havent played with powerpoint yet...

question is, anyone have a hook up on where to get a discount on these?...

also i plan on taking the basic microsoft office course next semester and they only use 07 stuff, so i figure if i at least start getting to know it now, ill be able to breeze through the class...

I'm not sure what the normal price is, but I looked online and it is $149.98. Ill look at the bookstore on Monday to see what the price is.

Thats the normal price. I guess we don't get a discount on the student version because it is already discounted. I can get professional for $199.99 ($499.99 at Best Buy).

The student version only has Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and One Note.

Depending on the college... you may be able to get it for like 10 bucks... I went to BGSU and they sold it to students for 10 bucks and at Case Western Reserve they were giving them away for free... You have to be a current student though... you might want to check that out.

ill check into that...its at Office Depot for $149.99 and has a $30 mail in rebate...didnt see it at any other places for cheaper than that, but i dont get a best buy ad, they get one here at my bros so ill have to check

look on the microsoft website, my brother was saying last night that he can get multiple keys from them, downloaded from the site and not a disc, for $60 and all you need is a college email they can verify. he said it was for like $600 worth of programs. his new computer has the tester version on it and it looks pretty cool,i like the lay out.

he got some kind of email about it, i think it came from when he registered his new tower. ill findout where he got the info

havent heard of that before where you can only install it so many times, my 03 is on my desktop, my old desktop, my brothers laptop, zeecks computer...

and i already have the 03, looking for the 07
