Madden 13 cover will feature Calvin Megatron Johnson

Calvin "Megatron" Johnson will be the face on the cover of the ever popular Madden NFL video game series title Madden NFL 13. This is just the 3rd time the Madden NFL cover has been left up to a fan voting, and it came down to Cam Newton and Calvin Johnson as the 2 finalists. With reportedly more than 19.5 million voters, throughout the cover tournament, the Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson barely beat out the Carolina Panthers rookie sensation quarterback Cam Newton winning the cover prize 52% to 48%.

The game is expected to release this August on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Normally I can contain my excitement about Madden games.. but this year? Andrew flippin Luck is in it! I get to play as Andrew freaking Luck! And break all kinds of records been waiting for ages it seems
