From today's NY Post:

There's a strong possibility that help is on the way. Sources said defensive end Michael Strahan is likely to end his holdout - which has reached 24 days - and return to the Giants. He is not expected to report to Albany this week, meaning he will miss the entire monthlong training camp. The Giants break camp Thursday. General manager Jerry Reese yesterday met with Strahan's agent, Baltimore-based Tony Agnone, at the team hotel and Agnone informed Reese that Strahan is nearing a decision.

It is possible Strahan will be on the scene Saturday night at Giants Stadium when the Giants face the Jets. There is no way Strahan can be ready to play in that game, though he has been working out in the Los Angeles area. He possibly could be available for the Aug. 30 preseason finale at New England.

An NBC report, however, said Strahan's family is trying to convince him to retire.
