I think he's mentioned because the magic needed to move someone too make room for maurice evans.

I don't know a whole lot about Ariza, but I really liked Maurice Evans. I wish the Lakers could have kept him, seeing as he's the type of player the Lakers need (a solid defender off the bench).

Hopefully it works out for the Lakers.
