My favorite Pac 10 moment.

the 2004 Holiday Bowl.

California coach Jeff Tedford spends weeks ripping the BCS and the media for the fact that 10-1 California was not selected for a BCS bowl. They were insulted by the fact they had to play a second-tier Big 12 team in Texas Tech. Then they get their heads handed to them by the lowly Red Raiders.

Final Score Texas Tech 45 California 31 (and it was not that close)

Glad to know that the BCS realized in 2004 that 10 win in the PAC 10 does not mean $hit.

When SEC teams stop playing non conference opponents whose power rankings qualify them for Mensa others might respect them more... First they say they don't play others because their own conference is so tough, then when they lose their bowl games its because they beat each other up so bad during the year, never mind most teams have 125 days off between their season finale and their bowl... Cal lost that year, then came back and throttled A&M last year. Tennessee will be getting theirs in just over a month :D

the Tennessee game will have the same result as last year, and I would love the play the Pac 10 in non-coference because after USC all you have left is the WAC.
