Holy crap! Sean Taylor shot at his home...

I hope Sean is OK. He is a MAJOR Talent and I wish him the best.
It is a shame people have to be like that. To break into a person's home and shoot him is insane. Hopefully he fully recovers for his family's sake. Football having NOTHING to do with that!

from what nfl com has, it sounded like he was put in a medically induced coma, which a lot of the time is better for brain injuries because the doctors can control things better and your brain isn't trying to focus on what is going on around you. when you are in a medically induced coma your brain is basically asleep so your body can heal without your brain trying to accept what is going on. they do it for a lot of brain injuries.

regardless, i hope he's ok and pulls through

Very sorry to hear about this. Have been busy with family stuff today, was not near my computer.

Sincerely hope Sean can pull thru this.. and that they catch the a-hole(s) responsible :salut:

Best to you, Lonnie, and all the 'Skins faithful.

Very good news

(Here's some stuff not in the article that I have read on assorted Redskins forums)

He is awake, and responding to commands from nurses. It is unclear how this will affect him, but his father says that Sean will play in the NFL again.

Amazingly, he flatlined twice during surgery.

Sean Taylor is one hell of a fighter:salut:
