Bench Warmer
It's been rather warm here last few days, it was 77 at 8 last night still. So I decided to sleep with the window open to see if I wouldn't wake up at 5 like I have been. Well still woke up at 5 cause the window helped a bit, but no fan still made it hot. Anyways, I get up and start moving around, decide I'm going to check my email and I get pics from my best friend.
She's pregnant, I found out the day before my surgery, but we've been keeping it low because she didn't want to say anything until the first baby appointment. Well that was yesterday, and she sent me pics of her sonogram. No idea what I'm really looking at other than I have seen a little head :cheers::cheers::cheers:. I keep telling her it was twins and since I didn't see 2 heads, that means I was wrong and she won't kill me now. But I'm super stoked right now. Her and her husband have been trying for 4 yrs and he came home on R&R from Iraq 2 1/2 months ago and they made a baby. He's due home around Christmas time and he will be here for a while now. They just got an extention to stay on the base until 2011 :cheers::cheers:.
I'm just super stoked to be an aunt again. (We are pretty much family now) I just hope it's healthy, with 10 fingers and 10 toes and all goes well.
