We were thinking about taking my son but he may still be a little young to sit through the whole thing. All I know is when he sees the preview on the Cars movie DVD he LOVES it and also the snippets they are showing on the Disney channel have him in a trance while it's on.

Zo, when was the first time you took your girls to a movie? How old?

My kids don't seem interested in it. Son is dying for Transformers and daughter wants to see Nancy Drew.

Neither could sit through a whole movie until about age 4-5.

hmmm, i think she was about three. We went to go see brother bear. She said really loud at one scene "dad.....brother bear's butt..." :lollol:

movie was ok. kinda long it seemed. funny towards the end, but I could have done without seeing it.

my niece was 3 when she went to see Shark Tale, had to load her up on popcorn and soda and get her a booster seat so she could see. she's 5 now and scared of the dark now so movies are out for her

We took Jason (3 yrs old) to see Happy Feet and he did so so , if your children are the type that can sit and be content then it should work. Also Jason loves Cars and Lighting McQueen and we own the DVD but he has rarely sat thru the whole thing. He usually gets out his Dinosaur puzzle or some Thomas trains and goes back & forth watching it.

if you aren't sure about taking your youngin to the movies, sit in the back row that way if he wants to get up and move out of the isle you are already in the back and no one is sitting behind you. helps when it comes to getting up to go potty too. i always sit in the back cause i can't stand it when people kick my seat plus now it's easier for me to stand up and move around
