Giants nix Mix for Hixon. What's the word on Hixon?

I really liked Anthony Mix. He played very well in the preseason and played well the half he played earlier in the season when Plax got hurt. I guess since he is not a special teams contributor they had to cut him.

What do you guys know about Domenik Hixon? Besides that he was on the Broncos. I'm pretty sure they want him as a punt returner and couldn't cut Sinorice, Steve Smith or Tyree because of his special teams skills.

Some good news at least. Mix cleared waivers and was signed to the Giant practice squad.

All I really know about Hixon is that he was the one Kevin Everett was tackling when he was injured
