Bench Warmer
Freshman right guard to replace junior

A second true freshman will join Trinton Sturdivant in the offensive line's starting line-up Saturday.

True freshman Clint Boling will start at right guard, leaving junior Scott Haverkamp out. Redshirt freshman Chris Davis will receive the nod at left guard, while Haverkamp will play considerably less.

When asked about how Boling has been able to succeed as a freshman, head coach Mark Richt said Boling is physical enough.

"I wouldn't say he's necessarily 'weight room' strong, but he's sturdy," Richt said. "He's a sturdy, built guy. I don't think he ever had any high school injuries, you know. You'd like all those guys to have about a year or two under their belt before they really have to go do what (Boling)'s doing, but so far he's been strong enough to handle it, the physicality."

Another player looking to crack the starting lineup is linebacker Akeem Dent, who might replace Brandon Miller at the stongside spot.

This line will be amazing in a few years.

UGA's O-Line is why I think we win....hopefully we'll FINALLY be able to apply some pressure on the QB and Stafford won't "2006 awbern game" us tomorrow!

Stefan, Stafford is due another "2006 Auburn game". He played well at Auburn, played well at Talladega, might as well play well at Tuscaloser.
