Rumor floating around Nashville today says that Bobby Johnson will leave Vandy to become Clemson's head coach soon. Personally, I don't buy this for a second, but who knows.

He's a good coach and a Clemson guy.

I think he will get a chance to go to a better program, but Clemson may try to find a bigger name.

Bowden should be forced to leave, but that is an interesting rumor. Johnson is a Clemson guy and from the upstate. He was the coach of Furman after leaving Clemson then moved up to Vandy. I think he may be under consideration, but definitley not a first choice.
