Hockey Fake PATCH Cards

- Im wondering where you find out if a Patch card is Fake ... i was gonna buy a CUP patch card , then i realized that some were faked by putting a lot better patch in the card ... how would one go about finding out if its a real amazing patch or someone cutting a piece themselves?

possibly upper deck might have scans of said card?

or keep an eye on the number, some have been caught up because someone remembered a number and all of a sudden the patch is different

You can't really tell if a patch is fake, just look at the shape of the card around the patch and edges to see if they maybe tried to force a new patch in or if the patch look really out of place
