After being horrible for the first half, he's been playing great the second half, so his numbers this year don't say much.
Normally I wouldn't have wanted him to be re-signed, however, the Sox really had no better option. It was either re-sign Dye, or go after someone else on the free agent market, as they have nobody to play right coming out of their farm system. Unfortunately Ryan Sweeney didn't really pan out.
