another reason to hate my history class

so im anal about errors in anything that is given to me in college since im "paying" to be there

so im doing my history paper that is due in the morning, its a "primary source" paper where we are given 45 documents to use and support a central thesis...keep in mind this is a HISTORY class...

the paper is on John Brown, the antislavery white guy who was publically executed December 2, 1859...well document 14 is a letter from John Brown to his wife and kids dated November 31, 1959 almost 100 years to the day AFTER he was killed...:doh:

hate my professor, might have to ask him a question during lecture tomorrow...make him look like the jagoff he is in front of 300 people :roflmao:

it wouldnt be bad if it was a grammatical error, but screwing up a date in a HISTORY class, unacceptable

My math teacher makes mistakes all the time, and when we point it out, he jokes about it and makes fun of himself. It makes the class a little more entertaining.

the guy is a complete assbag...always spouting off incorrect information (the soviet union fell in 1987 according to him, but it actually fell December 31, 1991) and this isnt something HE created, its a source thing that has gone through numerous historians and HE uses, so obviously HE approved of incorrect information yet again...

professor wasnt even there today so i let my TA know how much i was frustrated by the whole inaccuracy...its one thing for the person speaking to make a mistake, but a book is a whole different thing...
