49ers RB Gore Breaks Bone In Right Hand

San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore broke a bone in his right hand Monday during the first padded practice of training camp. He may miss the entire preseason as a result. "He'll be ready for the latter part of preseason, but his participating in the preseason, we'll wait and see on that," head coach Mike Nolan said.

Fluke accident? or is he just soft?

He should be fine by week 2 or 3 of the regular season. He'll probably miss all of the preseason, and take a game or 2 to get into regular season mindset

I dont think its a massive issue. Hopefully he'll be ready by week 1 or 2.

yeah hand injuries can be a tough one considering a RB has to use to hold onto the ball or stiff arm.

Yea i read that yesterday, but look into the injuries he has had so far. Wonder if this is conna become a problem for him to be prone to more injuries?
