Racing 2017 Donruss Racing... two box break ...

ranbethscards

NASCAR products are back baby!!!!! oh yeah!
First, sorry for the delay. Got these in the mail a week ago, just getting around to posting the hits...

Busted two (2) boxes... put together FOUR (4) sets of base cards #37 through 136.

Way too many duplicates... not to mention another handful of extra cards.

Not sure why Donruss doesn't consider cards #1 through 36 and #137 through 189 as base cards. Without them you really don't have a set. Right?

NOTE: Donruss calls cards #1 - 36 and #137 - 181 a subset (within the set) and they are considered "short prints". This is crazy... a set should be #1 through #189 (or whatever the magic number is).

Anyways... due to all the duplicates and the inserts, plain and numbered, it's been a pain to sort, but here are the "hits"

Much like Hockey Jersey Cards, alot of non-numbered "hits". Sad.

Looks like you got a couple nice cards out of it. I personally don't like how a lot of products these days have SPs built into the base set. But, I'm more of a parallel guy. I understand why some vintage sets had SPs built in (purely due to production issues)...but modern sets don't have the same issues.

So, how many of the "base SPs" did you get? Also, are they all equally short printed or as some of them harder than others?

how many? no where near how many are actually SP. sad that they do this.. and the actual number of each is unknown. And yes, some are harder to get... or maybe those people that have them in hand are waiting until they drive the price up before they list them on eBay...
