We still beat the canadians by 4 1/2 points, which is pretty tough to overcome even if they were underscored.

More importantly Jeff Carter had a natural hat trick and set up the OT winner versus Finland :cigar:
the americans in a decent spot after the short program, Ash Wag seemed to be underscored, and Gracie Gold didn't have a good skate compared to her practice run yesterday and still scored well...the young Russian fell, and the highly ranked girl from Japan, umm, bombed to put it nicely...ranked #1 going in, came out 16th...
OUCH, Team USA getting hammered in Figure Skating...hard to be the next on the ice after a good performance by the Russian, because the crowd is silent.
Gold fell during her skate, Wagner I thought skated well, but scored quite low, again...I think there is a bit of home ice advantage in the scores, as both of the top Russians got very high marks...
looks like Gold will end in 4th, Wagner in 7th...I think Gold will be back for the next cycle, but I don't think Wagner continues on
