Just last Friday I broke my rule against buying any more cards (my boss finally gave me a Christmas bonus....after a tooth broke during work and he knew I'd need the $$$... most of which went to a clinic visit and antibiotics, so I felt I earned the right to splurge a bit
) and picked up a few packs of 2013 Panini Prizms...but they're football, not baseball lol...I also bought a couple of different team-set type packs of Packer cards for $5 each, and one had an Eddy Lacy rookie that basically paid for the pack it was in.
I did find an auto in the four packs of Prizms I bought...but from a "Return Specialist, so I doubt it's worth much. I don't recognize ANY of the players lol
I'd say more about them, but the mods here tend to be a bit too strict (IMO) on keeping each thread topic-specific.
No offense meant mods.
Good luck with your cards, btw. My interest in Baseball cards are more from the 90's era than today, so I'm not interested in them myself, but I do like the potential these types of products have for increasing in value over time. They are a relatively cheap to moderately-priced product that tend to start off well value-wise and also tend to increase in value over time. If I'm going to shell-out $12 for 16 to 20 cards, I want that potential "locked-in" so-to-speak, if only to potentially recoup my $$$ someday, if I should choose to divest my interest in 'em...but, I also like the quality of the cards themselves, as they are pretty decent compared to the cheaper products.
