Not as shocking as some may think, but he's leaving probably $50+ million guaranteed on the table. After the new CBA, there will be a rookie salary cap. He won't get anywhere near that in 2012.

My God, the past two weeks have been hell on me. I cannot stand Boston -- especially the Celtics. If the Lakers had lost, I don't know what I'd do. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about that. Kobe is up to five rings. I think he'll get at least one more before it's all said and done.
