Well, I've been working on my Billy Pierce and Johnny Callison PCs. But vintage never got much response here when I was active so I kind of quit posting.

More guys interested in vintage. If you're out there, chime in. :thumbsup: Other than that, I'm good with the site as is.

Today is John Unitas' birthday. He'd have been 80 years old. Best football player I've ever seen. Not best 'qb', best football player. Unbelievable drive and determination. He once broke his nose in a game, shoved grass into it to stem the bleeding and kept on playing. I saw him play in person...

Big Ups to Franklinguy52!! I got an envelope in the mail today from Troy and it contained some very special cards. My family has a special regard for PGA vet Fred Couples. He's a great guy and a good supporter of the University of Houston. Troy's package contained a really cool Upper Deck...

Nice. You know I'm not much of a hoops fan these days (ok, for the last couple of decades) but I like Tim Duncan. Seems like a classy guy. I may have to pick up a card of his.

I really want one of those Nebraska Lil Red mascot cards put out by Upper Deck a few years ago. But as luck would have it it's a short print in that mascot set and costs way more than I'd ever pay for a mascot card.
