Did a couple more quick ones today. These continue my cards dedicated to the Oregon football teams that I grew up watching (and their bowl appearances). #83 1989 Topps '99 Oregon Ducks #84 1985 Topps 1999 Sun Bowl An interesting side note here for our local Michigan State fan (I believe...

My PC Vintage NON-sport cards subject pictorial and history series.

I like those...very cool! Since a complete set of 25 sold for $800+ and a near complete 23/25 sold for $20...are there a couple really short printed cards? Also, I'm a big fan of imgur. I got rid of photobucket a long time before they screwed everybody over. Their site was too buggy.

OK, here's a quick one that I did. I know he didn't really have the NFL career that I had hoped he would...but I was still a pretty big fan of his. #82 1989 Topps Joey Harrington

    Baseball Mail Day 7-19-17

Great pick ups! I have always wanted to try and put together a set of the 1989 Fleer Billy Ripken varieties. I think it would be fun.

I'm glad you like it...I'm really happy with this one. To answer your question...I inserted the background. It's basically two photos on top of each other. The bottom photo is a photo of a cloudy sky I found. On top if a photo of Mariota that I took and carefully cut him out of with...

    My Custom Sports Card Creations

Totally agree...it was a fun set with a nice clean look. I love the rare varieties...they got so into overproducing their quality control took a hit and as a result they actually made some collectible cards. LOL. OK. So I told myself I wasn't going to post this one today. I actually started...

    My Custom Sports Card Creations

I thought about that. I have a logo for my company I could use...I would just add my signature to it. But, I felt like that would be a little too much...plus I would want to put it somewhere subtle and not somewhere where it would cross over the design. Trouble is, those are easy areas to...

Are All "Base Cards" Really Base Cards?

So, I have been doing some searching for a "want list" for my Marcus Mariota PC. Just sorta window shopping. As I mentioned in that thread, I'm going to avoid base cards unless I find one that really appeals to me...not a strict rule for the collection but definitely a theme. Having done some...

    Cases and Storage Question

I have heard they can pop open. I was thinking of using a seal-able sleeve on the outside of the case. Great info. I'll check those out!

    Cases and Storage Question

So, I have quite a few cards for various PCs that I have picked up over the last few years that frankly are in storage and very hard to enjoy. I'd like to put them in some kind of cases so I can view them and enjoy them. Most of the standard thickness cards are in normal toploaders with...

    Marcus Mariota PC

So...recently I got a couple hundred dollars in the mail due to an over payment and since it was unexpected I decided to use it as "fun money." My plan was to stretch it out and enjoy it. Then, I decided it was time to finally start the Mariota PC. Long story short, I have spent most of the...

    My Custom Sports Card Creations

I completely agree with you. I really like a cleaner feel. I think that the cards companies today are constantly trying to "one up" each other...and their product from previous years. I first started to see this issue with the explosion of GU cards. I really got out of the hobby in the late...

    My Custom Sports Card Creations

So, in the past I have tried to post two cards at a time but with my schedule being as busy as it is right now...I don't know how often I will be able to work on customs so I don't want to wait to create two. So, I will probably start posting them individually once they get done. So, here is...

Thanks for the kind words. I'm happy that you enjoy the designs and that the watermark doesn't bug you. I have a couple more designs I'm working on. I'm going to try and be a little more consistent. Maybe post a new one or two each week or so.

Is Theft the Greatest Form of Flattery?

It looks like all but 4 have been taken down at this point. The three Chelcie Ross cards and my 1962 Topps Mariota are still up. If there not down in a couple hours I will submit another VERO complaint.

    Marcus Mariota PC

So, I have finally decided to actually start a Marcus Mariota PC. He's my favorite active player (and next to Joe Montana my favorite player of all-time). I'm going to focus on higher quality cards for this PC...autos, GU, SSP, ect. My intention is to try and avoid base cards unless I find...

OK, here are a few new ones. First...I thought it would be fun to take my beloved 1989 Topps football card design and make a baseball card out of it. So, I chose my favorite historical baseball player Mickey Mantle. Here it is. #77 1989 Topps (Football) Mickey Mantle Up next is my next...

Is Theft the Greatest Form of Flattery?

So, I have attempted to contact the seller twice and have had no luck. I reported all the listings and that didn't do anything. But, I discovered eBay has the "VeRO Program" which you can file a report to and it is design to protect intellectual rights...things like stealing images from...

OK, here are the next couple. The first concludes the Kerry Collins set with him finishing his career with the Colts. #75 1967 Topps Kerry Collins IND This next one is a completely new design. I have always loved the classic 1952 Topps baseball set (I think everyone does). So, I took that...
