I just wanted to give everyone a quick heads-up that we (@grapler135s, @AndyDrummond and myself) have made the decision to completely remove the off-topic forum from SCC.
The reason for this was simple. That forum had a total of 14 threads that had replies in the last year, so it wasn't a forum that added much value to, or garnered much interest from the members of, SCC. However, that forum did have a lot of threads that Google didn't like, which could be causing us to lose some search engine result power. In short, there were a lot of what we might consider R-rated threads in that forum.
So, the decision was that the positives of having that forum (which we found to be almost zero), did not outweigh the potential harm it was doing for us with Google.
The "Gone but Not Forgotten" thread has been moved to the Sports Talk Forum as that thread seemed to be one that was considered to be fairly on-topic and was the only thread getting any recent, and regular, activity.
