NFL suspends the sale of Michael Vick jerseys.

Not sure what purpose this serves. I think it is pretty much a PR thing to try and appease the animal rights crowd.

His world is crumbling beneath him.

I kinda feel bad cause he is essentially been proven guilty before proven inocent.

But thats the price you pay to be high profile in todays society

It certainly isn't fair, but when you have all these negative things like the Ron Mexico thing, the water bottle and this...

It's hard to give someone the benefit of the doubt.

This is kinda like when the NFL wouldn't let anyone get the personalized jerseys with "MEXICO" on the back of it after his other "incident".

(Yes, I know if someone wants to get a Vick jersey they can easily get a knock-off one off of eBay)

Bottom line is because of him this whole event has unfolded... He owned the house, he started and owns the Kennel, his cousin/friend staying at his house was the one arrested that led to all these warrants and charges. It isn't a matter of him being guilty, the league is just being proactive and distancing themselves from a potential headache. If he is cleared of everything they will work him back into the marketing, but don't forget, NFL is not the NBA, they make it more about teams than individuals so ....

anyone listen to Steve Czaban (sp?) on Fox Sports Radio in the AM? He bought a personalized Vick jersey from the NFL web site with Ookie on the back right before they banned that name. Pretty funny stuff.

Heck, as a property owner here in Indy you can get fined for not mowing your lawn and not keeping your property in shape. You are responsible for anything that happens on your property you own. So IMO, it will be easy to prove that something very illegal happened there. As to his full involvement, who knows.
